Wonderful! As best I can recall, there were many such stories on the series, and, yes, Atkinson's tale would have fit right in. I assume that's what Ms. Atkinson is aiming for. Overcome the what-ifs by giving the here-'tis the upper hand. It's the author's dream come true. You get to play god and invent alternative lives. Interestingly, tonight's Twilight Zone episode was pertinent to this topic. A playwright makes up his life by giving life to his characters--literally. He thinks them into being, creating an audio tape of their characteristics and features. If things don't work out between him and his character, he merely discards the person by tearing up the tape and burning it in the fireplace. walk2writehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13501812375142037251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560838335414244511.post-29940162363225609472013-09-17T21:35:45.664-05:002013-09-17T21:35:45.664-05:00If your readers are adventurous, I definitely thin...If your readers are adventurous, I definitely think they would like it.
