They have no blood investment in the country and so they can beat their chests and spout jingoistic nonsense secure in the knowledge that they will never be called out on it and that only the poor and the middle class will ever pay the ultimate price for their demagoguery. If the draft had been in place, I highly doubt we would of ever gone into Iraq.
